POSY FREDERICK — Part 1 Architectural Assistant

Posy graduated in the summer of 2016 with a degree from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art.  She has just finished working in the studio of Francis Kéré after receiving a scholarship into the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, Switzerland - as part of an international exchange program.

Here, she took part in the national architecture competition “Reinventer Paris” which focused on the urban renewal of derelict sites across Paris.  She achieved the highest commendation in the studio for her project ‘Place d’Italie’ and so was selected for the Swiss MAD’16 exhibition.

The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland Quarterly magazine recently published the article she wrote about her work there.

In her spare time, when she is not tending to her goats, she is a keen tennis/squash player and photographer.
