Hot off the press! Hogarth Architects in Fulham have been working on a rebranding for their business cards and letterheads. Our signature orange business cards have been redesigned for a modern, contemporary look that represents our architectural style.
One year on from the original Grand Designs programme, Kevin McCloud and the team returned to The Hidden House for the ‘revisited’ segment, showing just how much the project has developed since last year and how the family are settling into their dream home. Kevin described the project as "a magical, glamorous tardis” and recognised Ian Hogarth’s design as “outstanding, supersizing a tiny plot into something of extraordinary fun and function."
As part of the campaign to raise funds and awareness of men’s health issues, the willing and able participants in the Hogarth Architects office took part in Movember. By the end of the month formerly known as November, there were three brilliantly groomed moustaches and a donation was made to the selected testicular and prostate cancer charities. Well done!
Our 450sqm new-build family house in Wimbledon is beginning to take shape. The bespoke spiral staircase is in production, the spiral wine cellar is due to arrive on site next week and the roof is currently being tiled ready for winter. When complete, the house will utilise several different eco-features and be extremely energy efficient.
In September, Hogarth Architects once again took part in Open House London, a festival of architecture and design that allows members of the public a look inside over 700 public and private buildings in the capital. The Hidden House’s doors were thrown open and over 1000 people queued in the rain for a chance to see inside the Grand Designs featured project, having the chance to learn a bit about everything from the green technologies used to the AV and lighting systems.
